German media translation – on-brand and publication-ready
Media translation by professional translators – throughout Germany, fixed price from €0.95 per line, quote in about two hours.
A subtitle only works when it stays readable — correctly timed, not just correctly translated.
Media content has to work in the tone of the target culture: we render editorial, PR and audiovisual formats in a brand-appropriate and publication-ready way.
We translate your videos, podcasts and press texts in a media-specific way: subtitles are not merely transferred into the target language but tuned to reading speed, line length and timecode, so that viewers can read along without missing the on-screen action. You receive ready-to-integrate SRT or VTT files with retained time marks.
For spoken versions, we deliver voiceover scripts and dubbing texts — depending on whether the original voice is to be overlaid (voiceover) or replaced (dubbing). Native-speaker translators and, where needed, voice talent ensure that tone, pace and register match the source.
Subtitles that stay readable — format and timing included
Do you deliver finished SRT or VTT files?
Yes — you receive your subtitles in the format your player or platform expects, with fully retained timecodes. On request we also embed the translated track directly into the video. So you can load the file into YouTube, into your streaming backend or into the video edit without rework.
Do you adjust the subtitles to the reading speed?
A literal translation is often too long to be read in the available time. We condense the text to common guideline values of around 15 to 17 characters per second and keep the lines short enough to fit the frame — the meaning is preserved, but the viewer keeps up. This is exactly what distinguishes professional from automatic subtitling.
Do you also translate accessible subtitles for the hearing-impaired?
For enhanced subtitles (SDH) we transfer not only the dialogue but also mark speaker changes and describe relevant sounds and music, so that deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers can follow the action too. This is at the same time the basis for meeting digital accessibility requirements for your media content.
From voiceover to press release — media from a single source
Do you also do voiceover or dubbing?
We produce the translated voice scripts and, on request, organise the recording with suitable voice talent. With voiceover, the new voice sits over the quieter original track; with dubbing, it replaces the original and is matched to the lip movements. We recommend the option that suits your purpose and budget.
Do you translate press releases and editorial texts in a journalistic way?
Press texts have to sound in the target country as if they were written there — in the right register, with the fitting phrasing and on time for the embargo date. Our native-speaker translators with an editorial background deliver ready-to-send versions, not literally rendered raw texts that an editorial team would first have to smooth out again.
Do I get the transcript and the translation in one step?
If you only have the video or audio file, we first create a time-coded transcript and then translate it — both from a single source and coordinated with each other. This saves you the detour via a separate transcription service and gives you the original text and the translation in one consistent workflow.
