Who assesses my foreign higher-education qualification?
In Germany, the comparability of academic qualifications is decided by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB), which maintains the anabin database for this and, on application, issues a certificate evaluation. May I use my foreign title in Germany?
The use of a title is governed by the higher-education law of the respective federal state, not by the translation. We render the degree obtained faithfully to the original and do not translate it into a German degree, so that no inaccurate equivalence arises.

Who recognises my foreign diploma in a regulated profession?
In regulated professions, the respective competent body decides – for example the Medical Association, the state authority responsible for teaching posts, or IHK FOSA for commercial occupations. All require certified translations of your qualification documents, which we produce to be authority-proof.
