Certified Translation Czech - English
The beginnings of the Czech language go back to the end of the 10th century, as Czech, just like the remaining Slavic languages, separated from the common Proto-Slavic. It is from this period that the first evidence of the existence of written script is available. There is more evidence in the second half of the 12th century, which means that Czech can be considered to be a proven language only from this time onwards. In the Middle Ages, Czech developed to become a rich and widespread language of many literature classes. With the development of the Bohemian state, it spread beyond the national borders. Expansion of the Czech language can be observed in the period from the 14th to the 16th century. It was spoken, above all, in Upper Silesia, but also in Hungary and, naturally, also in Slovakia.
